The Great Kauri Run - Kauri Dieback

Thanks for your entry into this weekend’s Kauri Run

Just a quick reminder to ask you to ensure your running shoes / walking boots are clean for this weekends event. We are trying to minimise the impact of kauri dieback on the Peninsula.

We would also like to remind competitors that the Kauri Run, Particularly the Ultra, Classic and Half Marathons are extremely tough and rugged runs and that you should not attempt them if you have any serious medical issues.

You may not be aware but we also run an informal 5k run around parts of the town and that we take entries on the day. The local 4 square have put up a lovely childs bike as a spot prize for entrants in the 5km.

Finally looks like the weather is going to be fine on Saturday - Yeh
